About Our Lab

This is the official website of the Matsuda Laboratory at Nagoya University (Graduate School of Informatics). We conduct education and research activities for graduate students (Master and PhD programs), addressing social challenges through systems science, process science, modeling & simulation, and data-driven methods.

Primary areas include carbon neutrality, energy systems, environmental technologies, and healthcare systems.

Research

Our laboratory conducts model- and experiment-based research and development across multiple temporal and spatial scales, aiming at the design and social implementation of industrial processes with energy creation/saving functions for a carbon-neutral society. We also study system development, scenario design, and interdisciplinary approaches bridging engineering and social sciences.

Education
